OUR PEDS SERVICES
Can A Rise Above Help My Child?

Fine Motor Control
At A Rise Above Occupational Therapy Services, we help children strengthen fine motor skills essential for everyday activities like writing, shoe tying, and playing with small toys. Our personalized, play-based approach builds confidence and coordination in a fun, supportive environment. Through hands-on activities and evidence-based strategies, we help kids gain the control they need to succeed at home, school, and beyond.

Interoception Awareness
Some kids can’t tell if they’re hungry, tired, or anxious — and that affects how they behave. Interoception is the body’s internal sense, and when it’s off, kids can feel overwhelmed and confused. Our certified interoception program teaches them to recognize and respond to their body’s signals with confidence.

ADHD & Life Skills for Teens
Teens with ADHD or executive challenges may struggle with planning, time management, or emotional control. We help them build life skills for success in school, work, and daily living — even if they’ve never received support before. Our tailored approach empowers them to own how their brain works and thrive.

Concussion Rehab
Concussions can cause headaches, vision issues, focus problems, and emotional changes. Our comprehensive therapy addresses brain, body, and sensory systems so your child can heal and function like themselves again. Now offering sport baseline testing before injury — launching August 2025.

Interactive Metronome
Does your child struggle with focus, noise sensitivity, or processing speed? Interactive Metronome uses visual and auditory feedback to boost timing and brain function. We’re certified in both clinic and at-home programs to meet your family’s needs.

Neuro Vision Rehab
If your child has headaches, eye strain, or trouble reading, their vision may be part of the problem. We partner with expert optometrists to retrain how the brain and eyes work together. From post-concussion symptoms to developmental vision issues, our screenings and therapy help kids see and succeed.
